I came across this digger today with an unusal cabin..  ;D it was near Sullom..

I was out one day looking for Otters, and wandered along the banks, I did'nt see any, but on the way back to my car, I came across this wee guy, it was not sure of me, but it sat quietly and watched me, it was a bit breezy, and the wind was blowing his hair about, so I thought it would be a good subject to photograph.

So last night I ran it through my epsom R800 and printed an A4 size photograph of it..

When suddenly I realised I had a visiter, It was a male Blackcap, I spotted the female, but could'nt get its photo, there was another migrant on the honeysuckle, but could't ID it, it was dark brown with a mottled breast..

These birds will, no doubt stay for about a week before they fly off..

I stayed in today, then got bored, so I picked two pictures and printed them out, then I framed them..

One was the sunset, and the other one was the pier at Mossbank in late evening.

If anyone is wondering, how I get my photos of the bird life in my garden. here is how I do it..

cameras set at each end of the window, that covers both sides of the garden..

If a bird I want is in the middle, then I just move one of my tripods to the middle..

Its important to keep your windows clean..

But I do open the side windows, it makes for a much better photo, unless the bird is in the middle, like the Redpoll..
