Hello George,

You have so many wonderful photographs. It gives my spirits a lift to look at them especially at this time of year when days have less sunshine and daylight.

Keep posting the lovely photos.

Well thank you Shire.. I have thousands of photos, in 20 folders depicting different subjects.. I go out most days, weather permitting, with my camera, mainly for wildlife, if i don't find any interesting wildlife, then i commit myself to scenery, which i also love.. but i must admit doing a lot of Whale watching in summer, and Otter watching, The Otters probably recognise me, as i've taken so many pix of them,  ;D it gives me a kind'a buzz..  ;D

Thanks Liz.. Thats a very good idea.. I haven't really spent a lot of time there, since I helped build the new C of Scotland old folks home, so i'll need to check with Tracy when i go there..

Its odd, i got a phone call this morning of a report of a Snow Goose.. at Burra isle.. this morning, which is'nt a hundred miles from Scalloway..

This is Yell sound, in the summer, this is a good place to watch killer whales playing and feeding..

I got a Killer Whale alert this morning, Julie saw two, possibly three Orcas off Sumburgh head moving west .. She reported her sightings to the killer whale alert system ..

So I jumped in my car and headed south to Sumburgh, when I got there, there was'nt any Orcas, Julie did tell me they were moving fast ..

So I tried to guess where they were .. I tried several locations, then tried to contact Hugh Harrop. but Hugh was in Edinburgh en-route to Hungary for his photo/tour..

So, I did'nt like to come home with an empty camera, so I took some pics of the waves crashing on the Tombola at St. Ninians Isle..

Waves..
