The Arctic Warbler is still at Sumburgh Head. There are still 3 Common Rosefinches at Grutness, a Little Stint is at Pool of Virkie and a Pintail is at Loch of Hillwell. A Common Redstart is at Fladdabister. A Pied Flycatcher is at Sandgarth, Voe.

On Unst, a Common Whitethroat is at Skaw, a Wood Sandpiper is at Uyeasound and 9 Lapland Buntings are on Hermaness.

A Citrine Wagtail is at Baltasound, along with a Common Redstart and a Spotted Flycatcher, with 2 Kestrels at Norwick.

The Little Stint was at Scord and Pool of Virkie, with 32 Knot at Virkie and a Pied Flycatcher at Sumburgh Head. A Turtle Dove, a Spotted Flycatcher, a Pied Flycatcher and a Garden Warbler are among migrants at Quarff. There are 5 Siskins and a Fieldfare at Sandgarth, Voe.

A Greenshank is at Loch of Littlester and 15 Bar-tailed Godwits are at Hamnavoe, Yell.

Some birds reported yesterday..

The adult American Golden Plover is now at Loch of Littlester, Yell, there are 2 Yellow Wagtails at Burravoe and 18 Bar-tailed Godwits at Hamnavoe.

A Red-breasted Flycatcher, a Red-backed Shrike and a Sedge Warbler are on Whalsay.

A Red-backed Shrike is at Exnaboe along with a Lesser Whitethroat and a Spotted Flycatcher, a Long-eared Owl is at Toab along with 5 Spotted Flycatchers, 3 Whinchats, a Kestrel, a Pied Flycatcher and a Tree Pipit, there are 2 Yellow Wagtails, a Barred Warbler, 2 Common Redstarts, a Tree Pipit, a Siskin, a Kestrel, and a Spotted Flycatcher at Sumburgh, and the Little Stint is still at Virkie.

A Common Redstart and a Pied Flycatcher are at Scousburgh. A Stock Dove is at Quarff along with the Turtle Dove, 2 Common Redstarts, a Common Whitethroat and a Spotted Flycatcher.

On Fetlar there are 6 Garden Warblers, 5 Common Redstarts, 4 Spotted Flycatchers, 2 Common Whitethroats, 6 Whinchats, a Tree Pipit, 5 Blackcaps and 10 Willow Warblers.

On Unst, there are 3 Siskins and a Kestrel, the Green Sandpiper, a Spotted Flycatcher and a Fieldfare at Lamba Ness, a Pied Flycatcher and a Common Redstart at Norwick, and a Spotted Flycatcher, a Common Redstart and a Kestrel at Baltasound.

Lots of birds reported yesterday..

A Paddyfield Warbler is at Quendale. An Ortolan Bunting is at Grutness along with 2 Yellow Wagtails and 2 Fieldfares, a Water Rail is at Virkie, and a Cuckoo, 3 Tree Pipits, 6 Whinchats, and 2 Spotted Flycatchers are at Toab. A Common Redstart and a Pied Flycatcher are at Scousburgh. A Red-breasted Flycatcher is at Stove, Sandwick. A Whinchat, a Spotted Flycatcher and 2 Pied Flycatchers are at Fladdabister. A Sandwich Tern, a Red-breasted Flycatcher, 2 Pied Flycatchers, 3 Spotted Flycatchers, 3 Common Redstarts and the Turtle Dove are at Quarff. A Red-breasted Merganser is at Helendale.

The Western Bonelli's Warbler is still at Creadylea on Whalsay with a Red-breasted Flycatcher, a Red-backed Shrike, a Wryneck, a Barred Warbler, a Reed Warbler, 9 Siskins, a Yellow Wagtail and a Dunnock also on the isle.

On Fetlar there is a Red-backed Shrike, a Barred Warbler, a Cuckoo, 4 Lapland Buntings, 6 Whinchats, 9 Common Redstarts, 11 Spotted  Flycatchers, 4 Pied Flycatchers, 7 Tree Pipits, 15 Garden Warblers, 11 Blackcaps, 3 Lesser Whitethroats, 2 Common Whitethroats, a Sparrowhawk and a Yellow Wagtail.

On Unst, a Barred Warbler, a Sand Martin and a House Martin are at Norwick, a Lapland Bunting is at Skaw, and a Yellow Wagtail is at Baltasound, while other birds in the north of the island included at least 2 Kestrels, 2 Dunnocks, a Fieldfare, 2 Common Redstarts, 5 Whinchats, a Lesser Whitethroat, 4 Garden Warblers, 6 Blackcaps, 4 Pied Flycatchers, 3 Spotted Flycatchers, and 3 Siskins.

On Yell there are 3 Common Rosefinches, a Spotted Flycatcher and a Goldcrest at Otterswick, and a Spotted Flycatcher, a Common Redstart and a Ruff at Burravoe.

A Barred Warbler is at Meal, Burra.

Yesterdays migrants..

An Eastern Olivaceous Warbler is at Ireland, Bigton. A juvenile American Golden Plover is at Pool of Virkie along with a Grey Plover, a Curlew Sandpiper, a Little Stint, a Greenshank, and 2 Whimbrels. A Yellow Wagtail is at Grutness. There were 2 Black Terns (and adult and a juvenile) at the north end of Loch of Spiggie, with a Corncrake at Scousburgh along with a Dunnock, a Common Redstart, a Common Whitethroat, 3 Blackcaps, 4 Garden Warblers, 10 Willow Warblers, a Spotted Flycatcher and a Pied Flycatcher. The Ortolan Bunting is still around Grutness, along with a Grasshopper Warbler. A Marsh Harrier was at Virkie and Quendale. There are 10 Siskins at Virkie and a Sparrowhawk at Toab. A Lesser Whitethroat, 2 Blackcaps, 3 Willow Warblers and a Spotted Flycatcher are on Mousa. A Grasshopper Warbler is at Quarff.

An Arctic Warbler is at Seafield, Lerwick, along with a Yellow-browed Warbler and a Wood Warbler.

A Great Snipe and a Pectoral Sandpiper are on Foula along with a Bluethroat, 2 Barred Warblers and 2 Common Rosefinches.

On Whalsay, the Western Bonellis Warbler is still in its favoured garden with an Ortolan Bunting and 2 Common Rosefinches at Saltness and a Red-backed Shrike, a Kestrel, a Common Swift, 2 Reed Warblers, 2 Yellow Wagtails and 4 Siskins on the isle.

On Unst, there are 2 Common Rosefinches, a Sparrowhawk and a Barred Warbler at Norwick, a Canada Goose, and 30 Siskins at Haroldswick, and 2 Common Rosefinches, a Barred Warbler and a Curlew Sandpiper at Baltasound.

A ringtail Hen Harrier is at Kettla Ness, Burra.

I've been entertained this morning.. looking out to my garden.. watching Blackcaps & A Garden warbler...

Still not spotted the Pied flycatcher that Kareen seen yesterday.. photos to follow, later on..

I've set up my sony with the 500mm lens in my lounge, ready for any migrant, who hopefully, will visit my garden today.. or is this tempting fate. lol ..
