I only got them as the road through the pass of brander was blocked by a train derailment.. so i had to make a 70 mile detour, through Lochaber and on to Glencoe then Loch lomond then home to my daughter in Paisley..

Re: Holidays 2011 [hurricane the aftermath]

I was heading to Lochaweside after the hurricane, I was heading for Ford and the single track road was terrible, it was filled up with leafs and broken off branches, the road was blocked near Ford but the guys were working hard to clear it .. after about an hour it was cleared... I then reached Ford and turned right heading to Dalavich, only to find the road blocked by uprooted pines, I met a forrestry worker and asked him if there was another route I could take.. he told me to follow him through the forrest tracks, and eventully found myself back on the road to Dalavich.. the cafe unfortunatly was closed, so I made my way to the Hollow mountain cafe.. then headed south to my daughters pad in Paisley.. in a seperate thread I'll post pics of the Osprey I got somewhere in Lochaweside...

The aftermath..

Even the bikers could'nt get past..

The other road closure, thats when I went through the forrest..
